Thursday and we continue with the IG Horowitz report and the Sham-peachment Follies.
The shockwaves of the former are still being felt so let's take it from the top.
Yesterday, Michael Horowitz was questioned by the GOP-led Senate Judiciary Committee and as we all know, the media focused on their fossilized co-conspirator Dem Senators to continually harp on Horowitz's carefully worded, yet no less outrageous statement that he found no evidence of political bias by any of the FBI officials central to his investigation.
Forget the fact that no one asked him if the same kind of hypothetical that those two leftist tits Berke and Goldman bandied about on Nadler's panel; to wit, did you inquire if anyone was politically motivated and do you really think that if you asked that you'd get an honest response?
Aside from that, the basis of the FISA warrants, the Hillary Clinton bought-and-paid-for and fictitious Steele dossier was known to be fictitious and yet was used as the pretext to obtain and then renew those warrants.
Everyone involved knew it as no doubt Horowitz himself must have been.
But of course, once the media had the soundbite it wanted, they were off to races and conveniently cut away from the hearings the moment Lindsey Graham began his opening statement, which cut to the actual meat of the report, CNN and the other agitprop media arms of the Democrats cut away.
In any case, Graham, as well as Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley grilled Horowitz about the meat of his report, which despite his best efforts to try and shield the FBI, was forced to admit that at best, they were grossly incompetent, reckless and that his findings did in fact show flagrant criminality.
Most egregious was the altering of documents showing Carter Page was an intelligence asset to show he was not, and thereby green-light the obtaining of FISA warrants to spy on him.
Hawley, Graham and Cruz were dead right in their individual assessments: 17 separate acts and instances of gross incompetence by individuals that are supposed to be the elite of the elite of nation's top cops that somehow miraculously all benefitted the Clinton campaign and hurt Trump's.
No mention of the "insurance policy" mash notes between Strzok and Page.
A glossing over of the origins and veracity of the Steele dossier and how it was used to abuse our legal system to spy on innocent parties.
Yet Horowitz could find no evidence of political bias?
Yes, the Democrat-Media Complex has its soundbite and doubtless will be harping on it endlessly.
But the proof will still be in the pudding when AG Barr and John Durham hand down indictments.
Considering their almost instantaneous dual rebukes of Horowitz's "no evidence of bias" opener, I fully expect people to face the music.
The question is, who?
If there is a G-d in Heaven, it should be Comey, Clapper and Brennan, along with McCabe, the Ohrs, Bill Priestap, Sally Yates, Andrew Weissmann and probably a few dozen more that we don't know the names of.
And then, of course, there's Obama and Clinton.
Wray's indifference toward Horowitz's report is hardly an aberration.
There are plenty of other reasons to question whether Wray is the right man to lead the FBI.
Let's review the FBI's abysmal record under Wray.
Under Wray, the FBI fought congressional oversight into what is now confirmed FBI misconduct.
Under Wray, the FBI's program of oversight of its informants almost totally disintegrated.
According to the latest inspector general report, Steele flunked the source validation process but the FBI continued to vouch for his credibility to the court - even misrepresenting Steele's value in the infamous FIFA case.
The FBI is less equipped to screen and stop a repetition of a future Steele-like failure now than it was in 2016 when it happened the first time.
Under Wray, the FBI abused the National Security Agency's database of bulk data collected without regard to constitutional privacy concerns.
The government is allowed to maintain this database because it promises not to use it on Americans without a court's permission.
Under Wray, the FBI couldn't even explain why thousands of the queries were initiated.
The abuse was so widespread and systematic that the court issued a stinging opinion here.
Wray fought the release of the opinion for a year, delaying public accountability.
To date, there's no report of Wray punishing any FBI personnel for any of this misconduct.
Actually, the past three years is just the nail in the coffin.
My preference is to abolish the agency entirely, but the first rule of bureaucracies is to expand their power, not diminish it.
And bureaucracy is the Deep State.
Also, just why were the transcipts of IC IG Michael Atkinson classified by Schiff-for-Brains?
If you guess because it implicates him as a Ukrainian stooge and liar, you're right.
Get this, Nancy Ponzi is now stating we've always been impeaching Turmp.

Yes, if the GOP is smart or if no one on the Judiciary Committee is also on the take from the Ukies, they will drag out a trial all year, this Daniel Goldman stooge claimed the Steele dossier was true, Karen Bass states the obvious although she is banking on her co-conspirators keeping the majority.
In any case, there is such a thing as "double jeopardy" but no по этому адресу they will just manufacture new crimes to smear Trump with.

Who Is the Best Two Hit Wonder Band?
ссылка one ever thinks about the Two Hit Tyros.
Once you have your JCB А24, трапециевидное лезвие, складной, многофункциональный, нож строительный JLC003, чехол hit, a lot of people just forget about you.
For some reason, one hit wonders tend to be remembered.
It's hard to define what a One Hit Wonder is, and I imagine it's even harder to Кнопка смыва AlcaPLAST M571 what a Two Hit Tyro is.
Almost all "one" hit wonders technically have a second "hit," because the record company releases another single in the wake of the first big hit and the second song gets huge exposure and airplay and even charts.
But it's really just an obligatory follow-up release.
It's not a hit on its own merit.
It's a "timeslot hit," as they used to say about TV, when there were timeslots.
I mean, even one of the ultimate One Hit Wonders, The Knack, actually had a second semi-hit in the wake of My Sharona.
But pretty much I'm the only person in the world who even remembers their "follow-up hit," It's pretty much just me and Alan Hunter.
So anyway, if there's already argument about which one hit wonders are really one hit wonders, there's going to be twice as much argument about two hit wonders.

Horowitz reports this is false -- the "dossier" was "central and essential" to the FISA warrant.
A previous warrant application without the Steele lies had been rejected.
Schiff and the Deep Staters knew that the Steele dossier was a lie, but used it to get a warrant anyway -- requiring them to later deny that the Steele dossier had been included in the FISA application.
And there were a lot of Fusion Kens and Fusion Nats in the media willing -- nay, eager!

Posted by: Yudhishthira's Dice I've complained about this a lot, but Twitter is the most estrogenizing узнать больше known to man, or to half-man shmans as you see on the internet.
I have this weird affliction, called heterosexual masculinity, which keeps me from offering strident, childishly-intense opinions about womanly creature comforts and sundry num-nums.
I don't think people should have strident opinions about trivialities.
Children have strident opinions about trivialities.
Men are supposed to be wise enough to know which things are trifling, and which things deserve their concern, and express themselves accordingly.
If it's important, you say something.
I'm glad to know that there's a cure for this affliction of normal masculine reserve, how, and that Jonah Goldberg is proof of that.
Apparently, being on Social Media Триммер Elmos EPT25 это day long is a cure for normal, regular heterosexual masculinity.
It's a feminizing and juvenilizing force which turns toxic men into pliable weakling children and fat little girls trying to advance in the social hierarchy.
Does that mean men shouldn't talk about these things?
No, of course not.
It's just that men.
Or we used to be, before the Internet gave us permission to engage our innner prepubescent нажмите чтобы увидеть больше tween.
I had a question a few weeks ago about what Duncan Donuts coffee tastes great at the store but very meh at home, and asked about it in a comment thread; another commenter said "Maybe you just have to grind the beans yourself and use the pour-over to get the same flavor.
We did not use the opportunity to bond 5 it, nor did we use it as a segueway into complaining that our boyfriends don't buy us flowers frequently enough.
Compare that to Jonah Goldberg, JV Last, David French and the rest of the Twitter Mean Girls Half-Men Chitty-Chat Coffee Clatch, oohing and aahing like women every day on Twitter about their favorite kitchen appliances, and whining and bitching about which vegetables they continue having a manbaby aversion towards.
They're vegetables, Little Girls.
They're not supposed to taste nummy.
At best, they taste pretty good, but in a particular way you have to cultivate a taste for.
And also, David French: Who the fuck gives a fuck whether you like kale or not?
Why do you even care if 5 like it or not?
Why do you think anyone else cares?
I realize that this is a bit odd for a blogger to say, but I have come to a conclusion about opinions: People need to stop having so many opinions.
You know who has opinions about everything?
Blowhards, assholes, and lunatics.
Sane people do not care one way or the other or at least do not care enough to bother expending the breath and saliva necessary to say otherwise about 95% of all the people, objects, and concepts in the universe.
But every "man" on Twitter seems to imagine that the world is just begging for their 8th grade mix-tapes of Stuff I Really Like or Don't Like At All Pee-Yoo!
If you don't like kale, don't eat it.
What the fuck is this bullshit with alleged "men" sitting around in a little quilting bee talking about food and appliances and movies all day?
This reminds me of the John Gray "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" claim, which went like this: Men talk about practical problems and seek practical solutions.
Women, on the other hand, often talk just to establish rapport and seek emotional validation and fresh reaffirmations of closeness.
This, he claimed, is why men and women are often frustrated with each other.
When a woman complains about, say, work, she wants emotional support.
She's not looking for some kind of practical solution like "Just update your resume and find another job," which is the sort of thing that a man would usually say until he realizes that that's not what women want to hear.
So while men, such as myself and the commenters here, will talk about these things in the interests of actually getting something done, David French, Jonah Goldberg, JV Last and the rest of the low-T very-womanly half-men brigade are constantly babbling on twitter about their What's Hot and What's Not lists, and starting Twitter threads nominating things which are on their To Do list, or, more wickedly, their To- Don't list.
Also: This seems to be a tactic employed by betas or lower than betas : to appear "cute," cute like children or cute like squirrels, rather than, you know, like men.
Little boys are cute, and act cute.
Some men are lucky enough to be attractive, but if they act cute, act like little boys, I have a feeling that a lot of women quickly go from feeling sexual to feeling Saharan.
And I sit here thinking: What the hell is wrong with you?
Are you this immature?
Did Twitter and social media give you permission, in your view, to go back to the good old days of being a child?
To reset the system at -- what do IT guys call it?
The last time you felt secure and happy?
Did you "men" ever learn how to be men?
Or did you learn once, but decide it was too "toxic," and so refashioned yourselves into Twitter-imprisoned metrosexuals and cloying little children?
Complaint: I don't like kale.
Solution: Then don't eat kale.
Also, get the fuck off of Twitter if you have time to complain about kale.
Do some squats in your spare time.
Complaint: I don't like Indian food.
From Tom Nichols, who с крупными бантами спереди not look like the sort of guy who would turn his nose up at any food that includes a lot of sugar and carbs.
Solution: Then don't get Indian food.
Also, start intermittent fasting.
You're grossly obese and it makes me sad to look at you.
Boast: I just love my high-end espresso maker!
Solution: Fine, I guess.
But also maybe consider the possibility that most men don't really enthuse over kitchen appliances, and maybe you should do likewise.
Note: grilling equipment is not part of the kitchen, obviously.
Also, do some deadlifts.
You're all hunched over like Gollum when he's masturbating furtively on a public bus.
Some deadlifts might straighten you out a bit.
Am I being too crochety, or am I guilty of enforcing Outdated Notions of Masculinity?
Am I guilty of perpetuating Toxic Notions нажмите чтобы узнать больше Masculinity?
I don't think so.
What about you guys?
And women, actually -- do you women ever look at these "men" babbling like little girls about Captain Marvel and think uncharitable thoughts?
But these "men" aren't exchanging information -- practical stuff like advice, recommendations, and recipes actionable intelligence -- but just to gab with the same shriveled low-t soybags they gab with every single day to further reaffirm that they remain emotionally-cherished members of the Twitter Mean Girls clique.

Graham notes that IG found dossier was central and essential to securing wiretap on American citizens.
Neither were they told that dossier author was obsessed with defeating Trump.
This is "perpetrating a fraud on the court," and it's a crime.
Graham: How would you like this to happen in your life?
In January 2017 there is no benefit of the doubt to be given.
The question is how far up did it go?
Why they kept going?
Horowitz said no one mentioned in it was vindicated.
Also, Graham threatens the FISA court that unless they do not punish this clear fraud appropriately, the court will reveal itself to be corrupt and in need of reform if not abolition.
Graham: Comey says he's vindicated by your report.
Horowitz: "The activities we found don't vindicate anyone who touched this.
Is that a fair assessment of your report?
After Horowitz notes more failures in FISA app, Graham says, 'So are these the best and the brightest?
So I think "low" understates things a bit.
I think that he meant to imply the following: These guys went up to the line and then over the line for a corrupt and illegal purpose getting a political opponent.
By doing so, they have destroyed the ability of the FBI and CIA to "go up to the line but not over the line," because now they will no longer be permitted that much latitude.
In other words: Hillary Clinton, James Comey, and Barack Obama have made it продолжение здесь more likely that Americans will be killed by terrorists because the FBI and CIA will need to be reigned in and cannot occasionally step over that line for a defensible purpose.
Such true American patriots!
Kennedy says after reading 15% of report, it made him want to heave.
After 25%, he felt like he was dropping acid.
Couldn't believe how bad it was.
Horowitz: It's pretty bad.
With the benefit of hindsight, it's worth remembering the so-called Schiff memo released by House Dems lied about the Nunes memo.
They had access to all the same info, knew Nunes was right, and deliberately said the opposite.
Also worth noting so many journalists sided with Dems.
Their false claims damaged the country.
There needs to be a reckoning.
I was the first to interview Carter Page about the Steele accusations.
Everything he said then in Sept 2016 seems to have held up as true: — Josh Rogin joshrogin You helped legitimize the dossier, piled on the media mob against Carter, and pushed collusion.
You get zero kudos.
EVERY media outlet that helped undermine the administration with his sick, sick behavior -- whether or CNN, etc.
Cruz noted two deliberate frauds -- perjuries -- obstructions of justice -- perpetrated on the FISA court.
The first was that the FBI actually had contacted Steele's primary source -- who they call the "primary sub-source," because Steele, who knew nothing about anything, was considered the 5 itself -- and that primary sub-source completely repudiated all the claims that Steele had claimed he'd made, telling the FBI that the Steele was exaggerating some of the things he said, making up other things, and in other cases passing off things said in jest or as barroom rumor-mongering and speculation as "verified information.
Well, apparently, they took his saying "all of that is bullshit" as an indicator of honesty and reliability, and reported he was such to the court.
But they forgot to tell the court that the thing he had been verified as "honest and reliable" about was calling the Steele dossier a parcel of lies.
Instead, the FBI led the court to believe that he was "honest and reliable" about the things Steele claimed he'd said, which he himself denounced 5 either said in jest, or as gross speculation, or as simply untrue.
This is obviously the kind of fraud that people go to jail for.
Not DOJ employees, though!
But that was just his first point.
The second point was this: Carter Page probably, at some point, told one of the spies assigned to him that he actually was a source for a US intelligence agency.
I've heard the CIA, but no one is confirming that, and maybe it's the Naval Intelligence Service or something.
Why is this important?
Well, if he's actually an asset for the CIA, that makes it pretty understandable why he's talking to Russians -- CIA assets often talk to Russians.
That's what the CIA asks them to do.
And this is patriotic service, not Treason, as the FBI would then characterize it.
Realizing that they had a major problem on their hands if this were true -- because they're golden evidence that "Page has been seen talking to Russians" is not at all incriminating if he's a CIA or NIS, etc.
So that's a big problem.
Well, a lawyer there -- Kevin Clinesmith -- deliberately changes the response of the organization from "Carter Page is a source" to "Carter Page is not a source," and sends this forged, fraudulent evidence along to the court as part of the FISA application.
They were specifically told by the agency involved that Page was a source and therefore had a very good and legal reason to have contact with Russians, but this guy forged the email, altering it to say he was not a source and so reported to the court that Page had no good reason to talk to Russians.
And here's the kicker: He still works for the FBI!
Because of course he does.
Because Christopher "Straight-Shooter" Wray.
BREAKING: IG Horowitz testified FBI case agent who misled DOJ re Carter Page's prior cooperating role w the CIA--otherwise exculpatory evidence in FISA wiretap process--is STILL WORKING at the FBI, along w other agents cited for misconduct.
Ahead of an application to renew the spy warrant in 2017, a top FBI lawyer doctored evidence from the unnamed agency which confirmed that contrary to FBI claims that he was a Russian spy, Page had in fact assisted the United States in its efforts to counter Russian operations.
An e-mail from the agency that clearly stated Page was "a source" for them was нажмите чтобы увидеть больше by Kevin Clinesmith, a top FBI national security lawyer, to give the opposite impression to the federal spy court.
Upon learning that a top FBI lawyer doctored evidence against a former Trump campaign affiliate to justify spying on him, the IG referred the attorney to DOJ for criminal prosecution.
Text messages from that same lawyer after the 2016 election revealed that he was an anti-Trump activist.
He would later be terminated from the Mueller probe for conduct which a previous IG report said "brought discredit" to the FBI.
Below, Ted Cruz asks Horowitz about this second point.
Which Horowitz says does not indicate "bias.
Am I stating that accurately?
It makes it illegal spying.
In other words, they're embargoing a story that hurts приведенная ссылка Orange Man Bad feelings.
They do however proudly feature this important story from liberal chubster Jonah Goldberg: As regards the incredible corruption disclosed by Horowitz and the dramatic confirmation of his report on live TV: Meh, not so important.

Sundown Joe Biden, Suffering From Rapid Cognitive Decline, Reassures His Worried Staffers That He'll Only Serve One Term as President —Ace of Spades I can do you one better, Sundown Joe -- In what is actually a hilarious report over at Politico, several aides to Joe Biden have been told by the former vice president that he's only in it for one term, or four years.

Midweek and I'm going to put the sham-peachment stuff second because, really, what the hell more is there to say about this other than the Democrats might very well have all but thrown themselves into a ditch for 2020.
All of that can wait, but all the action, or at least the potential for action, is in the release of the IG report.
Obviously, Horowitz's bit about finding no political bias is what the Democrat-Media Complex is going to be blasting far and wide, and for the LIV crowd and brainwashed base, that is all they are going to hear.
While Michael Horowitz is a creature of the Deep State who will do what he can to protect it, there are a few things worthy of noting.
First, the reason he concluded he found no political bias was because none of the criminals involved were ever going to admit as such.
While his egregious omission of the Strzok-Page нажмите чтобы перейти policy" text messages are indeed infuriating, the rest of the report essentially confirms the malfeasance and utter criminality at the FBI and DoJ.
That plus William Barr's and John Durham's almost instant rebuke продолжить Horowitz's de facto "nothing-to-see-here-move-along" meme should have Deep Staters soiling their panty-girdles.
Whatever comes of the final chapter in all of this, I firmly believe that the two of them are hell bent on actually taking on the Deep State.
But let's leave that for later.
Barr sat down with MSLSD propagandist Pete Williams and He added, I would say that the press was not so much irresponsible as it was a co-conspirator with Brennan, Comey and Clapper, especially given the fact that we now have it confirmed that Comey knew that the "pee" dossier was indeed fake news and yet he still briefed Trump on it, which was then the pretext that allowed Brennan and Clapper to leak that to the press, in this case Buzzfeed, and the conspirators used that either to bamboozle or with a nod and a wink get FISA warrants to spy on the President-elect.
And the rest as they say is history.
Three years of riling up an already divided nation in an effort to overthrow Https://booksarchive.ru/100/krug-almazniy-montolit-cgx-dna-100.html and in their minds preserve, protect and defend their grip on power.

But I do think that Barr, Durham and certainly Trump understand the gravity of this situation.
If they are, as I believe they are, going to attempt to dismantle or at least neuter the people and institutions that have perverted our justice and legal systems, then they have got to bat 1.
Given the nature of the entrenched bureaucracy as well as still corrupt courts and the leftist propaganda arm, the situation is in doubt.
But at least the enemy has been exposed and "it's on like Donkey Kong.
The question is, do they even have enough votes to pass?
Breitbart reports that there are 31 Dems who won in Trump districts that might not be willing to be one-term wonders all to satisfy Nancy Ponzi.
One of them, Abigail Spanberger got royally reamed at a town hall meeting by her constituents who are loudly and angrily reading her the riot act if she votes to impeach.
Interesting considering this is Virginia, which only recently just turned blue at least on the state legislature level.
As Ace reported yesterday, it's kind of a lose-lose for these 31 whichever way they vote.
Speaking of lose-lose, some Dems are trying to pull back from the kamikaze dive by pushing a censure, and that won't endear them to their base, either.
Meanwhile, the headless chickens of Schiff-for-Brains and Nancy Ponzi are running each other down with claims and counterclaims on whether or not impeachment is about 2020.
And as all this plays out, Trump's approval numbers tick up; he's now above Obama's at this time during his term.
Also a little reminder of Obama's antics in strong-arming foreign governments vis a vis quid pro quo.
Lastly, if this goes to trial in the Senate, can we replace Lindsey Graham with Jim Jordan?

The Morning Rant: Minimalist Edition —CBD Iran is the world's foremost enabler of terror Islamic and otherwiseconductor of terror, and creator of religious unrest throughout the Middle East and other parts of the world.

Yet the world likes Iran's oil, and likes the idea of another large market to which they can sell their machine tools and exotic metal alloys and electronic components and other goods with which Iran is busily building a nuclear weapons infrastructure with the singular and fanatically focused goal of building nuclear weapons to use On Israel Little Satan and America Great Satan.
Iran is implementing its strategic aim of turning Syria into a zone of Iranian influence.

Sefton Good morning kids.
Tuesday and up front we have the conclusion of the hearings phase of sham-peachment and the long-awaited dropping of the IG report to unpack, so here we go.
First up, the breaking news is after all the blathering about bribery and Nancy Palsi throwing the Ukraine angle under the bus and returning to the completely dead and rotting Mueller deception, those two have been removed from the articles that the President is to be charged with.
Aside from the fact that they are consulting focus groups and Ouija boards to determine their moves, all of this indicates that the Palsi, Schiff-for-Brains and Nadless the Human Pastrami have lost complete control of this entire thing.
In any case, yesterday's jam session was no different than any of the previous hearings from either committee.
The day started off with the Democrats and their confederates spouting distortions and out and out lies about the President and his actions.
The most egregious was this Barry Berke insect doing a Trayvon 911 edited tape hit job by first using a snippet of Trump invoking his Article II authority to fire people as his declaring himself emperor and then playing the soundbite from his campaign where he jokingly asked the Russians to find Hillary's missing e-mails as proof of collusion.
The fact that this was not immediately challenged and worse, went completely unchallenged by anyone on the GOP was a major blunder.
Opportunity to debunk a major media myth wasted.
You also had the exchange between Berke and dual purpose lawyer and witness Dan Goldman just spit-balling hypotheticals and coming to the conclusion that although Trump might not have acted on his supposed impulses to do something illegal, his impulses alone - because they just know he was thinking them - were enough to hang, draw and quarter him.
Louie "Go-Go" Gohmert went nuts when suddenly Berke got up from the witness chair, walked over and took a seat on the panel.
G-d bless Gohmert for quipping "How much money do you have to give to get to do that?
He also took a shot at ex-preezy Kenya-Kona Blend which doubtless made him gag on a spliff in the downstairs toilet in Kalorama.
But, then when the Republicans finally got their turn in the afternoon, they quite effectively dismantled with extreme prejudice the Democrats' "witnesses.
Later, Doug Collins went after Goldman for refusing to reveal how Schiff-for-Brains got the call logs for Devin Nunes, Rudy Giuliani and others and who was responsible for leaking them.
Look, we goof on the bug-eyed schmuck from Santa Monica, but make no mistake; Schiff-for-Brains is a dangerous, power-mad thug.
I have no illusions about whether or not Schiff-for-Brains or any of his Democrat co-conspirators and henchman will ever face any serious legal repercussions or justified retribution for what they are doing to this president and what shred of law and order and justice may yet exist.
Odds are they won't.
But their actions are not playing well in Peoria, especially considering the nature of Trump and more crucially, his incredible record of success when compared and contrasted to past presidents, Democrat and RINO.
The Democrat-Media Complex brought this upon itself, but then again perhaps it was inevitable.
The eight years of Obama, plus much of the previous 20 of the Bushes and Clinton brought the nation to a crossroads politically, culturally and economically.
Trump and most Americans wanted a way back.
And the powers that be would not allow that to happen.
Winston Churchill spoke of the end, the beginning of the end and the end of the beginning, in referring to what would prove to be the midpoint of World War Two El Alamein.
Perhaps we may be at or even approaching that "end of the beginning" phase.
But despite the urge for eeyore-ism, remember that none of what has been exposed - none of it - would have ever been revealed and confirmed to both us, and now many more Americans than ever had it not been for Donald J.
So, at least there's that.
And I think it's going to prove to be a much bigger thing in the long run than even we can see from this vantage point in time.
That said it should be noted that Horowitz's investigation was always going to be limited in scope.
Also, Horowitz is a part of the DoJ itself and unlike Barr I hopehis motivations is to preserve, protect and defend the illusion that all is well in Hoover-ville, and so naturally he found not a smidgen of partisan political motivation in the obtaining of FISA warrants based on the Steele Dossier.
Of course, that got the Irish up of both AG William Barr and his lead investigator John Durham, and they immediately released statements that essentially rebuked Horowitz's non-findings.
That said, the report is a bit of a mixed bag as there are a number of findings that don't do much to help improve the completely sullied reputation of the FBI, especially the confirmation that the Bureau doctored evidence in order to frame Carter Page, as well as debunking the latest round of smears aimed at Devin Nunes.
Naturally the Democrat-Media Complex is going to shout "no partisanship!
The other glaring and infuriating revelation was that Peter Strzok's infamous "insurance policy" tweet was not even included in the report.
So, okay, Horowitz was an expected let down, but the real action is with Barr and Durham.
And along with this serious rebuke of Horowitz, they did publicly state a few weeks back that indictments will be coming down.
We shall see if this happens and who gets to be frog-marched.
Will it be Comey, Clapper or Brennan or a low-level flunky who gets a wrist slap followed by a book deal and a gig on CNN?
No way, in every way possible.
I include them because of their relevance to the discussion of a particular issue.

The report concluded that officials at the FBI had enough information to properly launch the investigation in 2016, and dispel the claim that US intelligence agencies tried to plant spies in the Trump campaign.

Fusion Co-Founders Glenn Simpson and Jonathan Winer Refused to Talk to IG; James Comey and Former FBI Attorney James Baker Also Avoided Fully Testifying —Ace of Spades Specifically, Comey and Baker refused to get recertified for a classification clearance, thus blocking the IG's efforts to "refresh their recollection" with classified documents.
But sometimes witnesses lie about events, and sometimes lie about having no recollection of certain critical details.
James Comey, for example, has a steel-trap recall as to things he wants to claim to his media and government coconspirators, but has all sorts of convenient memory lapses about stuff that could get him into legal trouble.
So the IG wanted to "refresh his recollection" about this convenient periods of Lost Time by showing him classified documents and notes that would explain exactly who he talked to and when he talked to them and what he said to them.
Rather than agreeing to do this, Comey said, "Nah, I decline to get new clearance to see classified material," thus preventing the IG from "refreshing his recollection.
Now, one can get out of a lot of perjury charges by claiming one just didn't remember right, but if someone shows you documentary evidence about what the facts are and you still claim you don't remember, or you remember a version of the story at variance with the written contemporaneous record.?
Well, that makes it much harder to plead "no intent" to (ИО 309-33) Извещатель охранный поверхгностный уличный perjury charge.

This might have something to do with Dan Aykroyd's complaining that Lady Ghostbusters cost far, far too much money to ever be profitable even if it had been good, which it wasn't.
It also might have something to do with the film's need to position itself as different in all ways from the disastrous Lady Ghostbusters abortion.
They need a different setting, a different tone, and a different age cohort of the main characters.
It also differentiates itself from Lady Ghostbusters -- and from The Real Ghostbusters -- by читать статью itself not as a comedy at all, but some kind of Spielbergian action fantasy.
There are no jokes in the trailer.
Now that's definitely running from Lady Ghostbusters.
Whether this is an accurate teaser for the actual movie or if they're just trying too hard to show they're not like the Fake Ghostbusters, desperate for laughs, I don't know.
It has a very Stranger Things look and feel, down to the Spielbergian suburban barely-middle-class messiness.
It has Paul Rudd.
I didn't know he was in this.
The Ghostbusters do not appear in the clip, except in a clip from what is probably Ghostbusters 2, presented as a television news clip, as Paul Rudd explains that there were lots and lots of ghosts to bust in the 80s.
But there have been no ghosts since then.
Didn't see that one coming.
I assume the Ghostbusters will show up the living ones, at least to mentor the kids a little, and might even suit up for the climax, but the main characters here are clearly the little kids so the OG Ghostbusters won't be in the movie much and aren't really needed by the plot all that much.

The AG Guidelines and the DIOG do not provide heightened predication standards for sensitive matters, or allegations potentia lly impacting constitutionally protected activity, such as First Amendment rights.
Rather, the approval and notification посмотреть больше contained in the AG Guidelines and the DIOG are, in part, intended to provide t he means by which such concerns can be considered by senior officials.
However, we were concerned to find that neither the AG Guidelines nor the DIOG contain a provision requiring Department consultation before opening an investigation such as the one here involving the alleged conduct of individuals associated with a major party presidential campaign.
Crossfire Hurricane was opened as a Full Investigation and all of the senior FBI officials who participated in discussions about whether to open a case told us the information warranted opening it.
For example, then Counterintel ligence Division CD Assistant Director AD E.
We also concluded that, under the AG Guidelines and the DIOG, the FBI had an authorized purpose when it opened Crossfire Hurricane to obtain information about, or protect against, a national security threat or federal crime, even though the investigation also had the potential to impact constitutionally protected activity.
Additionally, given the low threshold for predication in the AG Guidelines and the DIOG.
The rules provide for a very low standard -- almost a complete lack of standard -- for opening up an investigation into a Republican presidential candidate.
They're saying that literally anything can constitute a "good faith" reason for suspicion.
Here, the "FFG" information means "Friendly Foreign Government" and refers to Alexander Downer's claim that Papadoplous said something about Russia having Hillary's emails.
This information provided the FBI with an articulable factual basis that, if true, reasonably indicated activity constituting either a federal crime or a t hreat to national security, or both, may have occurred or may be occurring.
For simi lar reasons, as we detail in Chapter Three, we concluded that the quantum of information articulated by the FBI to open t he individual investigations on Papadopoulos, Page, Flynn, and Manafort in August 2016 was sufficient to satisfy the low threshold established by the Department and the FBI.
Low threshold means "no threshold whatsoever.
We discussed t he issue of political bias in a prior OIG report, Review of Various Actions in Advance of the 2016 Election, where we described text and instant messages between then Special Counsel to the Deputy Director Lisa Page and then Section Chief Peter Strzok, among others, that included statements of hostility toward then candidate Trump and statements of support for then candidate Hillary Clinton.
In this review, we found that, while Lisa Page attended some of the discussions regarding the opening of the investigations, she did not play a role in the decision to open Crossfire Hurricane or the four individual cases.
We further found that while Strzok was directly involved in the decisions to open Crossfire Hurricane and the four individual cases, he was not 5 sole, or even the highest-level, decision maker as to any of those matters.
As noted above, then CD AD Priestap, Strzok's supervisor, was the official who ultimately made the decision to open the investigation, and evidence reflected that this decision by Priestap was reached by consensus after multiple days of discussions and meetings that included Strzok and other leadership in CD, the FBI Deputy Director, the FBI General Counsel, and a FBI Deputy General Counsel.
We concluded that Priestap's exercise of discretion in opening the investigation was in compliance with Department and FBI policies, and we did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation influenced his decision.
We similarly found that, while the formal documentation opening each of the four individual investigations was approved by Strzok as required by the DIOGthe decisions to do so were reached by a consensus among the Crossfire "Hurricane agents and analysts who identified individuals associated with the Trump campaign who had recently traveled to Russia or had other alleged ties to Russia.
Priestap was involved in these decisions.

The FBI relied on information from Steele to assert there was probable cause to believe Carter Page was a working as an agent of Russia.
Horowitz since expanded the investigation to look at whether the FBI had a sound basis to open investigations into four Trump campaign associates in late July 2016.
The watchdog also investigated whether the FBI properly handled confidential sources used in the probe.
That part of the report will likely focus on at least two FBI informants: Steele and Stefan Halper, a former Cambridge professor whom the FBI tasked to connect with Carter Page and Trump aide George Papadopoulos.
The report is also likely to include an assessment of whether FBI officials were biased against Trump during the Russia probe.

Meanwhile, we still have hearings set for today, which you gave the Republicans on the committee essentially zero time to prepare for, dumping thousands of pages of evidence at the last minute.
Not that that would matter since the committees are a farce of both fairness and legal precedent.
The Democrats have ensnared themselves in their own trap.
For over three years, everything they have done to rig the election and then sabotage this president has failed, and spectacularly so.
And since impeachment was promised even before Trump took the oath of office, impeachment is what they are going to have to deliver.
But invoking treason is truly crossing a line.
For argument's sake, let's say the House votes to impeach - and the jury is still out on if they even have the votes although I suspect they do and the scuttlebutt that they don't is a head-fakeand then he is exonerated in the Senate.

It's what you say when you didn't actually do the reading homework and just try to say something "safe" that won't expose you as an ignorant bluffer.
It's obvious Steve Hayes did not read any of the report, and yet knew he was booked as an "expert commentator" to speak about it tonight.
And yet even knowing he's going to have to speak intelligently about this, he still doesn't bother to read the very report he's Sagely Opining on!
Excuse me, if the "Expert Class" doesn't bother to do basic fucking reading, then they're not "experts" at all, and they certainly shouldn't be on TV or get to be the star of their own Very Important Newsletter.
BTW, Steve Hayes tried not to tangle with Hemingway.
One thing they're whining about is that the здесь movie does not acknowledge the Fake Lady Ghostbusters movie --but that movie itself did not acknowledge the real Ghostbusters movies.
In fact, it was set in an entirely different universe where the real Ghostbusters never existed at all, and the Fake Lady Ghostbuters had to invent the ghost-busting technology which had never before existed.
Given that the Fake Lady Ghostbusters deliberately set itself in an entirely different universe and disregarded Ghostbusters history, why on earth would a Ghosbuters movie which is set in the real Ghostbusters universe acknowledge this fake parallel universe of toxic feminism and constant babbling and no laughs?
Somebody broke the office bong, so they may be thinking more clearly.
